A fun fact:

Skyla was not her original name in Kierian. The first drafts was Poppy and then it changed temporarily to Twyla (I really fell in love with the name from the character in the TV show "Schitt's Creek") But I realized Twyla was a little too mellow sounding for our fiery red head. Thus I changed the "Tw" to a "Sk" and voila, Skyla received her permanent name!
